Collect

Collect is a simple tool for organizing group gifts and collecting contributions within teams. It was the first product in the Bontique ecosystem I worked on.

When I joined the team, the first version had already been launched using the basic Bontique design system.

My Contributions:

• Conducted in-depth analysis of the existing product to identify usability issues and business opportunities

• Proposed and implemented improvements based on user behavior insights and stakeholder input

• Designed and launched a new landing page to strengthen product positioning and boost conversion

• Led design reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with the broader Bontique design system

The key issues has been identified in the Initiator’s Journey, confirmed through usability testing. Users needed to act before deciding, but the interface only allowed it afterward, causing confusion. The flow also ignored session-based use, leading to unsaved data.

To resolve this, I redesigned the entire Initiator flow: initiators now land on a single Initiative Dashboard to manage their collect in one place, without losing unsaved data or jumping between multiple screens and steps.

My goal was to make the dashboard as simple and intuitive as possible, while accounting for all edge and corner cases.

To enhance emotional engagement and provide a sense of completion, I also introduced a celebratory Lottie animation upon successful completion of an initiative.

In parallel, I worked on the landing page design to better showcase the product’s features and improve user onboarding. Starting almost from scratch, I created wireframes and worked closely with the Product Owner to iteratively define the structure and content.

Once the design concept was finalized, I prepared an interactive prototype in Principle to demonstrate the behavior to the front-end developer.

The new design solutions reduced friction, errors, and support load, lowering operational costs while improving task efficiency. A new landing page strengthened product positioning and supported conversion.

At the same time, unified patterns created a more scalable foundation for faster development and future growth.
