At a time when employer branding is more important than ever, Bontique set out to make appreciation tangible, creating a tool that helps companies meaningfully motivate their employees.

As part of the mühlemann+popp team, which acts as both investor and strategic partner to Bontique, I led product design for Bontique’s growing ecosystem of 5 interconnected products serving both corporate and individual users.

While a brand and basic design system were already in place, the product experience lacked consistency and structure. As the sole designer, I took ownership of the design layer, clarifying workflows, aligning interfaces, and building scalable design processes.

I worked end-to-end: from ideation, requirement gathering, and early concept validation to delivery and post-launch maintenance.

At each stage, I proposed multiple solution paths to help the team make informed decisions, balancing constraints, priorities, and long-term goals.

To improve collaboration, I adapted the design sprint structure to the client’s context and redefined the documentation approach, separating exploration from execution, preserving ideas, and ensuring consistency across projects. I also created a shared design guide in Confluence to streamline communication and onboarding.
